After concert pic with my beautiful @triangels_musik_official
They premiered my arrangement December for trio piano, violin and oboe. The original composition is by @anastasiiakusnetsov for piano solo. It's a lovely tune but I often thought there is room for more so I turned the December piano solo into a set of three TriAngels and two days ago they premiered it here in the Zurich area.
Thank you TriAngels again and I'm looking forward hearing it again!🎶😍

My September Tango was honoured with the award during the premiere in June 30th 2025 at Carnegie Hall New York.

Amalia performing By the Baltic Sea which I wrote for the Youth Symphony Orchestra St. Petersburg 2019.
I am very touched by all the comments of people from the Baltic Sea. They feel very touched and can relate to it so well.
It is indeed quite remarkable and I am deeply touched.

Throwback November 25- 2025
Carnegie Hall concert with my daughter Amalia performed my piece By the Baltic Sea with David Wroe and Orchestra Manhattan.
What a journey we had! What a project we completed!
As a mother it's so much fun doing these things with my children and family.
Amalia had a terrible cough but pulled it all through with grace and dignity. Well done little one!
This will be our memory and it will accompany her on her way through life!
Thank you David Wroe for being such a good and caring conductor!
Thanks to all the team behind the organisation! It was lovely to seeing all of you again!

I'm getting ready for my USA premiere of my pieces By the Baltic Sea for piano and orchestra.
My daughter Amalia will play the piano together with the Orchestra Manhattan under David Wroe.

What an exciting mother - daughter project! I first wrote By the Baltic Sea for a Youth Symphony Orchestra and now my youngest daughter has reached that age and will bring it to sound on the stage of Carnegie Hall!

Our adventure is on its way!

I am very happy and thrilled to announce my upcoming world premiere at the Carnegie Hall New York.
The Manhattan Chamber Orchestra will premiere my small requiem La Lacrima. I wrote during the final days of my father's passing.
It was during the corona lockdown, and I was unable to visit him. Hence, the telephone was our communication. He enjoyed the music, and it calmed him down. I couldn't hope for more!
Now, after a revision, it will come on stage, not in Germany bin New York. I know he would enjoy this thoroughly!
Sadness and joy can oddly intertwine.
Happy, sad, and all in between...
New York - I'm coming!🙃🙂

My next world premiere also in New York Carnegie Hall will be on June 30th.
September Tango - after I started this tango more than a year ago, I finished it now, ready for New York.
For some time, I wanted to write a tango.
I must admit it didn't come very easy and shifted parts back and forth, knowing I had it all, but the order wasn't fitting the music storyline.
That's when you need time to digest and rethink.
My rethinking is usually when I go away and take a break. Scotland is a wonderful place for me to clear my head.
So after Scotland, I finished it and I am very happy and ever so excited hearing it being performed and recorded soon in New York by the Lehner Quartet.

Callanish Stones- Island of Lewis and Harris- outer hebrieds- Scotland.
After crossing the Isle of Skye, we finally reached, of course, by ferry, the Isle of Lewis.
Finally, I made it together with my daughter to see the last one of the famous megalithic stones and circle in the UK.

They are all so far apart but still share a strong similarity.
This is all so very interesting to me that I wanted to see them in real, breathing in the old history of its existence.
What a lovely trip with my big girl!💓

4 days of European Festival Assoziation Summit 2025 in Edinburgh.
Having met many new inspiring people with an alike passion. Musicians, organisers, researchers and many more.
I'm happy to have had the opportunity to pitch the publication and recording of Swiss Female Composers Festival piano collection published with @universaledition @scodo.
Driving forward the availability and accessibility of music by women composers that it really finds more concerts and festivals to be performed.

Yesterday's excursion took us to the private library of Walter Labhart in Endingen Switzerland.
@yami.cruzmontero and myself

Over a period of more than 50 years he's been collecting music books, scores and more from all over the world but with the focus on women composers and eastern Europe. What a treasure! His knowledge is incredible and he's such a source of history in this regard.

These are Crotales.
The first kind of Crotales were found in the Dowris hoard in Irland.
Today, the Crotales range covers 2 octaves and are arranged in a chromatic order.
They are part of the classic percussion instruments.
They are played with different mallets or.....? Any other suggestion 🤔 🙂?

For our concert showcasing only music composed by Ina and myself, we have received a lot of publicity. One of the big articles was with Exlibris as shown.
What an adventure it was for me to participate in this very first concert of its kind in Tirana. Ina Kosturi is putting all her energy into making a change in classic music education at Tirana University. 👏
